Facial Plastic Surgery in Plano, TX
Dr. Lunde combined his interest in plastic surgery with his knowledge of the face, head and neck when he was selected for a Fellowship in Facial Plastic Surgery by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He was the recipient of the Jack R. Anderson Prize for Scholastic Excellence for having the highest score on the Facial Plastic Surgery certifying exam.
Dr. Lunde uses the latest techniques to obtain long lasting, natural results. To help demonstrate the potential improvement with facial surgery, Dr. Lunde uses computer imaging. The patient’s picture is taken with a video camera attached to a computer. He can then demonstrate the possible results of a variety of procedures. “Although it’s not a guarantee of actual postoperative results, computer imaging is a great aid in the analysis of one’s face and helps stimulate discussion and explanation of the different surgeries,” says Dr. Lunde.
Many individuals will undergo a rhinoplasty in order to correct a breathing issue or to improve the visual appearance of their nose. This surgical procedure is able to alter the skin, cartilage, and/or the nasal bone based on the unique needs and desires of the patient.
